Abstract

This study proposes an innovative evaluation model for Education for Work and Human Development (ETDH) in Colombia, based on a qualitative approach and a documentary review; Relevant components were identified through the analysis of traditional and innovative evaluation models; Subsequently, the specific evaluation needs for the ETDH were defined, considering work demands and essential competencies for students. As a result, an evaluation model was suggested based on obtaining evidence through experimental simulations supported by Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), in order to offer a more authentic and contextualized evaluation of learning, overcoming the restrictions of traditional approaches and taking advantage of ICT capabilities to enrich the evaluation experience.
