Abstract

This article seeks to promote some strategies that allow better control and reduction of logistics costs in imports of food products (white meat, red meat and vegan products).


 


 


Based on the Ishikawa diagram, developed by Kaoru Ishikawa. Which allowed an evaluation of the areas involved in the importation of said products, which generate bottlenecks that affect the operational processes. For this investigation, an elementary type methodology was used that adds value to the distribution chain, taking into account; tax benefits, negotiation of the value of the merchandise, customs clearance in secondary areas, automation of processes and contracting of a trade with the aim of obtaining improvements in the processes of transport and distribution of container merchandise in ports, minimizing costs and optimizing delivery times between operations.
