Abstract

The objective of this research is to carry out technological surveillance on the application of the Scrum method, an agile methodology for the elaboration of group projects, as a strategy for active learning, where it is sought to give the student a leading role in the teaching process. For this, a review of the literature was carried out, analyzing articles published in the main academic indexes, to review recent experiences of the application of Scrum in the classroom. As a result, it was observed that the experiences of the application of Scrum in the classroom have been predominantly positive, leading to improvements in the learning process, better grades, greater student participation and strengthening of group work. Therefore, it is concluded that Scrum is one of the best strategies for active learning and that it has many benefits for students and teachers.
