Abstract

This article presents an in-depth reading of the Barranquilla Carnival from qualitative research based on social cartographies elaborated by children from different sectors of the city. Children from different sectors of the city. Through drawings, interviews and participatory dynamics, we explore the ways in which children live, feel and mean the and meanings of the carnival in their daily environment. The results show a multisensory experience linked to color, music and movement that strengthens music and movement, which strengthens the sense of belonging, identity and community ties community ties.
