Abstract
In order to continue advancing in the coverage of the sewerage service in the municipality, this study and design has been prepared to establish the necessary works to have the adequate infrastructure to provide a sewerage service with the quality that the community of Villa Rosario and Unión Paraíso in the municipality of Puerto Colombia (Atlántico) require.
The design of the alternative consists of the installation of secondary pipes in the Villa Rosario and Unión Paraíso neighborhoods of the municipality of Puerto Colombia, for which 1,641 m of 8-inch diameter networks will be installed, including handles and 129 ml of PEAD pipe of 160mm PN10 PE100
The proposed works will come into operation immediately, as they will be integrated into the existing sewage system in the municipality. The aforementioned works will result in an increase in the quality of life of the Municipality, the environmental sanitation of the area and the reduction of diseases related to sewage, especially in children and the elderly, who are the most vulnerable population.
