Abstract

The document addresses the logistical challenges faced by Colombian companies due to inadequate infrastructure, lack of advanced technologies, and shortage of trained personnel. These problems negatively impact the efficiency and competitiveness of companies in the global market. The research was carried out through a bibliographic review using high-impact databases such as Scopus, Web of Science and Science Direct. Specific search terms related to logistics and technologies were used. The initial search yielded 258 documents, of which 21 relevant studies focusing on technologies for logistics and supply chain management were selected. The inclusion process is the review of titles and abstracts to ensure the relevance of the selected studies. The articles were read in their entirety to confirm their relevance and methodological quality. A data extraction table was created to collect key information from each study, including author, year of publication, objectives, methodology, results and conclusions. The findings were synthesized in a narrative manner and grouped by main themes such as, Insufficient transportation infrastructure, Limited adoption of advanced technologies, Lack of training and Potential of ICT. It is concluded that it requires a substantial investment in transportation infrastructure, adoption of advanced technologies and continuous training of personnel. Companies must implement modern information systems and promote training programs. Furthermore, the creation of public policies that support the development of infrastructure and technology is suggested, thus improving logistics management and the international competitiveness of Colombian companies
