Abstract
Dr. Francisco Lopera of the University of Antioquia, a leader in the study of hereditary Alzheimer's disease, was born in Santa Rosa de Osos (Antioquia, 1951), studied medicine and neurology at the University of Antioquia, and died in September 2024 at the age of 73.
