Abstract

Este documento muestra que el estudio de las ciudades requiere de un conocimiento mínimo de un conjunto de indicadores que posibiliten diseñar, medir y evaluar el desempeño de las políticas públicas implementadas en una aglomeración urbana. Indicadores relacionados con: la dinámica demográfica, la economía, la pobreza, el empleo, los desarrollos investigativos y tecnológicos, incluso los indicadores de competitividad, nos pueden revelar los ritmos y tendencias de los cambios ocurridos en ciertas ciudades: en este caso, Neiva.
