Abstract

Flexibilization at the organizational level is a phenomenon rooted not only in business dynamics, but also in the social order, which can be understood as the ability of companies to adapt to the new demands of the environment. Therefore, a study was proposed whose objective was to determine which are the organizational flexibility strategies carried out within the banking sector in Colombia and how they impact the organizational climate, taking as a case study a banking entity in the city of Medellin (Colombia). The research was conducted from a qualitative approach of descriptive scope, with the participation of 16 employees of the entity of reference, selected from a theoretical sampling; also guaranteeing the diversity of the sample according to sociodemographic variables. The main results identified the existence of three flexibility strategies in this type of organizations, linked to teleworking, rotation of schedules and intensive working hours; which impact the dimensions of relationships, responsibility, standards and identity of the organizational climate.
