Abstract
The study of leadership styles is becoming increasingly important in organizations, this is because various studies show that depending on the leadership style of the person who makes decisions within companies, a better or worse result will be obtained in Performance. Therefore, this research aims to identify the leadership styles that are present in people who make decisions within textile companies in Peru. For this, a quantitative study was carried out, with a descriptive scope, non-experimental and with a transversal time horizon. Thus, we work with a sample of 400 people who have a managerial position within small companies. The results obtained evidence that there is a greater presence among managers of the textile industry in Peru of the transformational leadership style, followed by transactional and passive.
