##plugins.themes.bootstrap3.article.main##
Abstract
The objective of this document is to conduct a bibliometric analysis and research trends on the topic of carbon markets. Methodologically, a bibliometric analysis of scientific production in the Web of Science and Scopus databases was performed, as well as a narrative review of the literature. The bibliometric results were processed using platforms and software such as RStudio and Tree of Science. A total of 1,203 documents were analyzed, revealing the most relevant sources, countries, and authors on the topic, mapping scientific production on carbon markets, and offering a literary narrative on the main recurring themes and research trends in the area. The results will be useful for researchers, entrepreneurs, and business managers, who will have the potential to expand the boundaries of knowledge on the topic and promote organizational strategies for its implementation.
