Rural entrepreneurship strategy as a territorial development: a documentary review

Abstract
Entrepreneurship is currently considered as a tool for states to promote economic, social, productive and even cultural development within the territories, however, despite the benefits of this trend, there are still considerable challenges for the contributions obtained are truly sustainable and impactful. In this article of documentary review, derived from the doctoral research project “Strengthening rural entrepreneurship as a territorial development strategy: empowering communities for their own well-living”, the main objective is to study how it should be approached entrepreneurship, especially in rural settings so that it can be considered an effective territorial development strategy; For this, a research methodology with a qualitative approach, typical of a systemic analysis of the object of study, was used; descriptive, based on the review of more than 50 high-impact publications. Among the main results obtained, the relevance of including an integral and sustainable human development approach to the rural entrepreneurship conception process is highlighted, where of course, a more integrative strategy is involved, that is, when the individual from their knowledge and knowledge, is connected to the possibility of creating a productive unit, being the basis for the promotion of territorial development. Finally, it is concluded by establishing that criteria such as: human development, new ruralities, strengthening of entrepreneurial skills, the concept of good living, among other elements typical of peasant communities, are critical points to take into account to adapt a trend so that the maximum possible benefits for the population are obtained.
