Abstract

This article reflects on the emergence of early edu-cation in the world and mainly in Colombia; and the particular practices in relation to children. In turn, raises the different conceptions of early childhood education, its scope and difficulty, ending with the provisions on public policy in the Capital District in relation to children and which has generated in terms of education about dimensions, columns, shafts and developments to strengthen, as exempli-fied by the way you can accomplish this in practice with the use of literature as one of the pillars of early childhood in Bogotá, Colombia. This article primarily seeks to understand how to comply with the points made by the Chilean poet, how to return the priority of childhood today, with teachers able to see the child as a subject with a world to build and learn.
