Authorship Policy

CESTA adopts the CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) to recognize and describe the individual contributions of each author in manuscripts submitted to the journal.

The corresponding author is responsible for accurately reporting the contribution of all listed authors. Each author is expected to have made a significant contribution to the work, reviewed the manuscript, and approved its final version for publication.

Contribution statements may include, among others, the following categories: conceptualization, methodology, investigation, data curation, formal analysis, software, validation, visualization, supervision, project administration, funding acquisition, writing of the original draft, and review and editing.

CESTA recommends that authors carefully review both authorship inclusion and author order before the initial submission of the manuscript. Any request to add, remove, or reorder authors must be submitted before the article is accepted, must be properly justified, and must include the written approval of all persons involved, as well as the authorization of the editorial team.

The journal may deny authorship changes when sufficient support is not provided or when inconsistencies are identified in the reported contributions.
