Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission is original and has not been previously published, nor is it under simultaneous consideration by another journal. Otherwise, an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the Editor.
- The manuscript file is in Microsoft Word format.
- All references include complete and verifiable bibliographic information. Only sources cited in the text are included in the reference list and, whenever possible, DOI identifiers and URLs are provided.
- The text complies with the journal’s formatting and presentation guidelines. Illustrations, figures, and tables are placed in the appropriate location within the manuscript, and their captions clearly indicate the source or state whether they are the authors’ own work.
- The manuscript complies with the stylistic, bibliographic, and editorial requirements indicated in the Author Guidelines/a.
- The manuscript has been prepared according to the instructions for ensuring anonymous peer review, removing any information that could identify the authors from the main file.
- The supplementary documents requested by the journal, such as the originality statement, author information form, and any other required forms, will be attached during the corresponding steps of the submission process, as applicable.
