Intellectual Property

Authors of articles accepted for publication in OnBoard Knowledge Journal retain the moral rights of authorship and are responsible for them. By publishing, they do not compromise the ethical principles or policies of OnBoard Knowledge Journal or its editorial committee.

Publishing License

By accepting publication, authors grant OnBoard Knowledge Journal a non-exclusive license to edit, publish, reproduce, distribute, publicly communicate, preserve, and index the article in digital format, both on the journal's website and in databases, repositories, and other digital preservation mechanisms.

Creative Commons License

Articles published in OnBoard Knowledge Journal will be distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0), unless stated otherwise.

This license allows users to:

  • Share: copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.

Under the following conditions:

  • Attribution: credit must be given to the authors and OnBoard Knowledge Journal as the original source, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
  • Non-commercial: the material may not be used for commercial purposes.
  • No Derivatives: if the material is remixed, transformed, or built upon, it cannot be redistributed in a modified form.

Third-Party Material

If the manuscript includes third-party material such as figures, tables, photographs, software, or other copyrighted resources, authors must obtain the necessary permissions for inclusion and must properly declare the source and conditions for reuse of such material.

Independence of Website Terms

The copyright conditions applicable to the published articles are entirely independent of the website's terms of use and do not contradict the open access policy or the Creative Commons license adopted by OnBoard Knowledge Journal.

Responsibility

The content of the articles is the exclusive responsibility of the authors. OnBoard Knowledge Journal does not use the expression "All rights reserved" for content published under open access.
