Approaches on human caplital as foundations of educational models to develop skills

Abstract
Approaches on human capital have been likely to show education based on skills, not only to improve the quality of life but also economic benefits for long term; therefore, this research work has identified the categories of skills existing in the model of Colombian education, whichhas classified them as professional as generic skills; in order to analyzed views from several authors that have regarded professional skills as significant meanwhile generic skills were taken on increased importance since these enhanced human potential. Results from this study have demonstrated although the labour mar-ket has highlighted as well the significance of individual choices in education as the needs to achieve labour skills in accordance with specific requirements, besides the parallel development of the generic skills are required due to these are addressed to find the holistic develop of human beings by explaining appropriate procedures of knowledge in order to achieve social welfare. Finally , external conditions such as economic, family, health, are required skills to access to spe-cific professions also nutrition among others were identified as causes that prevent people from being highly awareness of their competitiveness.
