Retractions and Corrections Policy
CESTA will manage corrections, errata, retractions, expressions of concern, and, in exceptional cases, the removal of published articles in accordance with its editorial principles and the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Corrections or errata will be issued when it is necessary to amend errors that do not substantially affect the academic validity of the article. Retractions will be issued when serious errors or evidence of misconduct compromise the reliability of the results or conclusions. The journal may also publish expressions of concern while a matter is under review and, only in exceptional circumstances, remove articles when the seriousness of the case does not allow for any other editorial measure. All decisions will be assessed by the editorial team on the basis of scientific integrity, transparency, and due process.
