Abstract




Introduction: The interaction between innovation and entrepreneurship deserves to be promoted from the curriculum highlighting strategic teaching-learning processes to contribute with the projection and socio-educational transformation mediated by technologies. Objective: To design, within the framework of innovation and entrepreneurship, the information technology (IT) ecosystem in higher education in Colombia. Methodology: Documentary analysis research was developed - propositive, with a qualitative approach to represent the procedural logic of teaching-learning, as a basis for the proposal of the ecosystem design. For data collection, a theoretical-conceptual registration matrix was designed as a basis for the structural and functional components of the ecosystem. Results: The importance of strengthening academic transformations focused on training processes associated with innovation and entrepreneurship from the classroom in higher education, promoting interaction processes to consolidate University-State-Business-Society-Environment alliances is evident. Also, consider the necessary infrastructure to promote the use of IT in tea- ching processes in the area. Requirement considered as an initiative that contributes to the development of the emerging economy of the regions. Conclusions: Through the design of the IT ecosystem, renewed ways of dynamizing the interactions of training in innovation and entrepreneurship are proposed. Consequently, encouraging the relationship between the educational and technological components of design makes it possible to promote entrepreneurial activity as a reference to overcome barriers that limit new ways of promoting sustainable development in the regions based on a new approach that promotes entrepreneurial education.
