Abstract
En este escrito se hace una reflexión acerca de los alcances reales, el impacto personal y profesional y las implicaciones académicas y administrativas de los semilleros de investigación dentro de los programas de formación de las Instituciones de Educación Superior. Se toma como base la experiencia del semillero Balance: Estudios en factores psicológicos de la conducta alimentaria, de la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad Católica de Colombia. Finalmente, se hacen conclusiones que refieren las condiciones, criterios y características para el óptimo desarrollo de los nacientes investigadores en Psicología, particularmente.
