Abstract

The construction sector and its production system greatly
contribute and impact the environment where it is developed. This is measured by the resource consumption
and the waste it generates. Consequently, this economic
sector has a high responsibility in the context of change
climate. Therefore, its actions are considered within the
strategies for climate change adaptation and mitigation.
This sector should then be included in the search for
sustainability and work towards the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in order to keep global warming
from exceeding +2 °C. This paper aims at reflecting on
Architecture’s responsibility on the implementation of
clean production strategies in order to mitigate climate
change effects and impact.
