Simplified Development of a Descriptive Geometry for Folding Transformable Roofs.

Abstract
In this present investigation, the simplified descriptive geometric adaptation of a folding system is developed and how to develop the modeling of its parts through CAD drawing software that will help generate the design interpretations of a folding roof in architectural spaces, this will trigger a methodology that will be presented in some scale examples, helping a lot to interpret the movements of a deployable system and therefore a series of interpretive models are generated, which proposes to form a deployable structure, for this reason the research focused on making the geometric adjustments of the models created in the structures laboratory, consequently improving the mobility and design of these systems, for this reason a versatile geometry was developed that could easily be developed and designed for the modeling of flexible roofs.
