Tangible and Intangible Heritage. The Circus-Theater as a Demonstration of Assembly and Disassembly
Main Article Content
Abstract
This academic study deals about a traditional Colombian architecture born to receive bullfighting festivals, showing an interesting fusion between indigenous construction tradition and models of Hispanic extraction (Bullfighting), and where tangible and intangible heritage seem to intersect. This nomadic architecture finds great diffusion in this tropical region from the Colombian Caribbean since it is related to the same changing design of the regional territory that shows a dynamic hydrographic level that occupies and vacates the tropical forest according to the dry or wet season. This architectural reality seems to preserve the values of an immaterial culture that claims to be recognized to be preserved and protected through design tools such as survey and representation.
